The Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigeria Universities Spouses (CVCNUS) has postponed till further notice the two-day conference earlier scheduled to hold today at University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The CVCNUS, in a statement on UNILAG website, apologised for any inconvenience the postponement might have caused invited guest.
The statement added that new dates will be communicated as soon as possible.
Other speakers include Dr. Elizabeth Onyema, Advanced Clinical Weight-loss Consultant/Wellness Motivational Speaker and Chairperson, CVCNUS and wife of Vice-Chancellor, Niger Delta University, Mrs. Edoumiekumo Adesewa.
But, the postponement may not be unconnected with the uproars expressed by the citizens over plan by the wives of the Vice Chancellors to travel to Istanbul, Turkey for a five-day conference.
