The Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and Deputy Chairman House of Reps Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi has described the sudden demise of the Chairman of The Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC, Amb. Austin Oniyesan as shocking.
Ereyitomi while mourning the passage of IRDC Chairman, Amb. Oniyesan, the political family, and the people of Omadino as well as the Warri federal constituency, expressed sadness over the loss of such a great personality whose contributions added value to the development of Warri communities under his watch.
The lawmaker in his condolence message to the family said Amb. Oniyesan was a man with honour and courage who has also invested much in the oil and gas sector and the agro-allied industry spanning good years of experience employing some Warri constituents creating opportunities for the people.
According to Ereyitomi the death of Amb. Oniyesan is a huge loss to Warri and the Itsekiri Regional Development Committee which he was already serving his second term in office as Chairman, but couldn’t continue due to his eternal departure.
"I on behalf of the Warri Federal constituency, extend my condolences to the wife, children, family, political associates, and relatives as we assure the family of being with them, praying with them for God to give them the heart to bear the irreplaceable loss.
